Artwork FAQ's

Do your prints come with frames?

No, they don't. However, we have written a helpful framing guide to help you choose the right frame for you. Check it out here

What paper do you use?
310gsm German Etching Archival Paper for the Giclee prints and 200gsm Satin coated paper for the Digital Prints

What is a giclee print?
Giclée fine art printing is the gold standard when it comes to producing museum-level quality prints.
It is made by using pigment based inks which means they are very accurate, archival prints. Sometimes, it’s very difficult to distinguish between giclees and the original artwork. The type of archival inks used on Giclée printers won’t fade when displayed in normal conditions indoors; colours will retain their brilliance for a lifetime.

Can you make custom pieces?
We will certainly consider it - it will depend on our workload at the time of getting in touch. Please send us an email hello@sewbotanical.co.uk
